Terms and Conditions

1) The 1 day taster course and the 5 day, 10 day and 15 day beginner courses are redeemable against the 20 day, 30 day and 40 day foundation courses, if booked within 6 months

2) Bookings are strictly on a 20% deposit and are non refundable.

3) The balance of the course fees are payable 14 days prior to starting your course.

4) Cancellations must be made in writing, if you cancel within 14 days of your course start date, we will deduct a further 10% off your refund of the course cost as this short notice leaves us insufficient time to fill your place.

5) Courses can be postponed until a later date if the course is postponed within 14 days of your start date. There will be a charge of 10% of your course cost added to your final invoice to cover inconvenience. We will try to fill your place at short notice, and if we are successful in this, then no charge will be made for the postponement.

6) All courses run from Monday to Friday, 10am til 4pm. Courses will finish early on Fridays to facilitate those wishing to travel home for the weekends.

7) Students are allowed to stay at our accommodation on weekends, however, a charge of £20  per night would apply. Accommodation is not offered on our one day taster or owner maintenance courses.

8) In the unlikely event of Cutz 4 Mutz Dog Grooming Academy having to cancel or postpone your course, the company cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred by the student. Should a postponement be unavoidable, then alternative dates will be offered.

9) Cutz 4 Mutz Grooming Academy will issue a Private Dog Grooming Certificate on completion of all of our courses. This certificate is privately issued and provides testimony to your attendance, competence and work experience at Cutz 4 Mutz Dog Grooming Academy .

10) Please note that every effort will be made to teach you the basic grooming skills and business set up within the time permitted on every course. We would like you to be completely satisfied with the service we provide, however, should you have any complaint, we would require this in writing within 7 days of your course finish date. All fees however remain non-refundable.

11) In an effort to improve  and update our service and courses,  Cutz 4 Mutz Dog Grooming Academy reserves the right to alter any details of the course prospectus, and accommodation at any time and without prior notice, and, to also change, postpone or cancel a booking at any time.

I agree to the above terms and conditions and that I will provide my own personal accident insurance and will be covered by all neccessary vaccinations including Tetanus. I also agree to report any damages or breakages or any problems with the salon  or equipment to the tutor.

Failure to comply with any of the above terms will be my responsibility and I cannot hold Cutz 4 Mutz responsible for failure to do so.

Students are required to supply their own bedding, laundry facilities are available at the accommodation.

Students are required to share the costs of the gas and electricity, both of which have token meters.
